Police say two vehicles collided at the intersection of Ouellette Ave. and Wyandotte St. at 1 p.m., causing a third car to impact two motorized wheelchairs. Three people are in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Downtown traffic was slowed until 5:00 p.m. as police waited to clear the scene. Ouellette Ave. was closed from Elliot St. to Park St., and Wyandotte St. was closed from Pelissier St. to Dufferin Pl.
Police thanked citizens for their patience with the road closure. No information about charges has been released.
